my 1meg is more like 33.6k atm, i have no upstream to speak of, and websites are slow as hell. Still downloads nicely, but typical telewest shitness is effecting me!

You have to remember that the DaOC community is not originally a BW one, it was "imported " to these forums from "somewhere else", Im sure most of us hope they wiil return there one day

Join you? I've had broadband for nigh on 2 years in the UK, but I'm currently in some shitty backwater of a French region, and only have access to the rotund pipe that is 56k.
