the main problem with your idea is that there will be huge job losses and forced poverty in the developed world because all the money that keeps those jobs has been redirected. and that doesnt do much to help eradicating poverty.

I'm talking technology generally. Medical technology is ofcourse very good but spaceships/gaming consoles/multi-purpose computers/electrolysis generators etc. are being used constantly and yet, even having these vital pieces of equipment, we still have simple problems to do with like poverty.

As for deserving, I'd say from a 'have we earnt it' situation.

are you saying your self that youd give all your xmas money to africa etc?

then from your job, what ever isnt vital to live youd give it to them aswell?

i dont know anyone that would do that. i would say hands down i wouldnt, why the hell should i? i earnt my money from working, and i traded that money for an xbox. i traded my time and effort in exchange for something else.

so to say people didnt earn what they buy is incorrect, imo
