Do you believe in things like Heaven, Valahalla, Ghosts and stuff?

Not to mention Hell for the naughty boys out there!

"Will see when I get there." That basically sums up all my views.. I've got no idea what's going to happen, don't want to find out just yet, either.

Likewise. It would kinda make the world dull if you found out there IS a Heaven and Hell

I believe we'll turn into something else after death - whether it involves being as a part of the planet or as matter for another object.

Not really a religious motive though.

I know you're allowed to be as annoying as possible on forums and OT sections, but please.. Any reason why? :(

4 letter answers are ghey.

EDIT:

No, none of you other OTers can respond to me with a 4 letter word/abbrivation -_- I thought ahead! :D

When you die thats it. The end. Your body turns to mush and becomes worm food.

There is no soul; only David Icke.

what kind of question is that ? Ofc there is an afterlife, the only thing that bugs me is if its more than our bodies beeing eaten by worms or our burnt ashes blowing in the wind...

The only reason for religion, belief in God, and belief in the afterlife is mankind's terror of death. You mortals want some deity thats infinitely supreme to you so that you wallow in the filth of your own sinful depravity, say a few prayers, and viola ! all your sins are forgiven !

"Mankind: you are an ignorant race" (name the movie)

Interesting that no one's voted for "dont care"
I would have thought Toto would fit into that at least, being such an iconoclast :)

In what way? :eek7:

I'd say i'm anything but an iconoclast, if you speak of it in a religion way.

No offence :)

I don't know (or care about) your religious beliefs. But if what little we know about you based on what you post in OT is anything to go on, then I'd say you come across as the least likely person who would believe in all that "if you don't do what the church tells you you'll burn in hell" mumbo jumbo. If not iconoclast, then anti-establishment then. Your views are wholly independent and fresh. Thats why you're without a doubt the most original person in OT. But theres a large part of you thats very anarchic. Yes thats the word. Ambivalent is another word.

Yeah no offense ofcourse.

Well i might be that way towards the church, ofcourse, since i come from it from a different beliefsystem altogether.

In regarding of the church telling me stuff, well, ofcourse i couldn't give two tosses. I thought this was a general poll on afterlife, not a poll on the church afterlife :D

Well i have to since you mentioned valhalla and asked about afterlife, i presumed you meant all afterlife :D

Ofcourse there's an afterlife(if i'm proved wrong in my immortality) for us nordic viking types aswell.

I always imagined nordic viking afterlife to be in a huge wooden hall with roaring fires, huge animals roating on spits, pipe tobacco smoke filling the air, and everyone drinking themselves silly, wenching, and singing bawdy songs about loose women, antlers and beards.

Sounds great. Sign me up. Altneratively, I'd like to come back as a Dwarf in Durin's time (LOTR history).

After death there is nothingness. I can understand why people dont want to believe it but hey, get over it ;)

It would be kind of depressing if this is the only throw of the dice we get.

I think I beleive in ghosts, but not the "after-life" in the sense of heavn and hell.

But I think Ghosts are not really what people think they are, I think they are "echos of time" if you were, moments of history stuck in time.

If you believe in eternity then life is irrelevant. So in short no I don't believe in an "afterlife" of any kind.
