whats the problem? If a tower is under attack best way to defend it is on the battlements (hence the design)

If its not under attack then camping it and waiting for action is certainly not much fun. (and you will find none do this)

Tbh even in heavy tower sieges the best RP is to get out on the open field and mix it up on the fringes (have a kick about, stick a few balls in the back of the net). All the attackers are primed to mezz, stun, and wtfpwn nuke anything that pops on a battlement into oblivion neway..

its all fun.

Actually you would be surprised how many do camp towers

Was wondering if ppl really do enjoy camping towers waiting/hoping for someone to attack or pass by.

Because it seems to me that the vast majority of ppl seem to be doing this :(

My guild has recently become active again <the pull of da0c was too strong>
and apart from 2 or 3 alb ggs and 1 hib the rest seem to want to move in zergs or camp towers .A shame really as NF has much more going for it in terms of FG V FG than OF

I camp the most likely towers to be attacked (Surs Coast tower or Beno tower on the wee hill thing (cba to look up numbers) with my bot. But only when I am busy doing something else online, so just incase it does get attacked, I can defend (and hopefully not loose it) and gain some RPs :)

Unfortunatly it seems that if I camp Beno, Surs gets attacked... and if I camp Surs, Beno gets attacked... Just my luck.

Agreed, most heavy tower sieges the enemy hug the tower walls anyhows to avoid the xxxxx archers usually on top, sat up there waiting for 1 to show his head for 97 people to hit him is very boring and the rp's are poor. I dunno if people camp a tower waiting for incoming though, ive not seen it personally.

Mytic said a long time ago thay whanted big epic fights, big groups and fast killing, and it all end up in fg v fg or solo. Afther a few years mytic makes NF to force zerge v zerge. So if you are looking for something els you guys are in the wrong game realy.

and few weeks after they released it 2/3 of the players base leave the game GJ mythic :D

Again, I fail to see the problem. I go RvR with my Bm everyday... be it solo, in a fg, or with a vague collection of souls I collect on the way... I dont care what anyone says... you dont need to be range to enjoy NF... no matter where you are. Running around solo is always fun, because even though you get the odd ganking from zergs (and lets face it, you don't lose anything) you do get some lovely 1vs1 fights out there too. I've also had a good number of fg vs fg in my time, you just have to avoid the keeps and run around the forests and ruins... Also in keeptakes, I never find myself running short of things to do. Seige warfare may be a little boring, but if you look at it this way... the quicker you can drop their tower (or their trebs, etc) the sooner you will be running in to twat some silly albie. Even if seige warfare isnt your style, then just get some balls about you and go look for some random stealthers out there, hell you may die... but its a helluva lot more fun sitting on yer arse inside Bolg. I love NF, its so much better than OF for all the reasons that people have been whinging about. OF was good, but you were pretty limited to the kind of battle you were going to see. Now, with NF, there is a whole different range to what you can do out there... and now you don't even need to have a fotm set up group. You just grab whoever you can and run out there farming heads. Maybe a lot of people dont like NF because they had gotten so used to the old way of farming rps... well now you'll just have to wise up to the new rules, because Im sure that if you just go out there, let the odd zerg wash over your head and have some fun... Im sure you'll be just as happy (or even more) with all the new aspects of NF, as you were with OF.
End result is, its just made it a little harder to win... but isn't that why you play this game? I really don't see the fun in a game that is easy.

Can't you read something that isn't broken up into primary school paragraphs of a few sentences? I was only rambling, not writing a novel :p
