Think about it... by making comments like 'girls are different these days' you talking from the perspective of someone with at least a couple of generations of experience...you haven't you are only 24 and the same generation as 16 year olds. You are also using it as an 'excuse' to convince yourself that its an acceptable thing to do.

Personally speaking, I don't think you have the life experience to make such a statement, unless you lying about you own age.

tbh i am a few years older than my girlfriend, and when you are out you can feel a slight unease as if people are judging you so that is up to you if you can take that.

as for going out, like mentioned above their maturity is very important if they dress up like a kid then that is a no go but if they behave like a young adult then there is less of a problem.

Nearly every single girl i've came to know either lost their virginity before the age of 16 to someone over the age of 18 or were busting a gut to have a shag by the time they were 16.
