Well I don't even think that the people against hardcore games even want them removed. Then they would lose their job aswell hehe.

Just like the Whitehat vs. blackhat "hackers". If there were to be no blackhats, then the need for whitehats wouldnt be there. This is what keeps the world spinning... money.

I have taken out frustration caused by computer games a few times my favorite was getting detroyed by someone on CounterStrike who i was sure had to be cheating (or im shite). So i went out side to the old shed we had to get rid off and started swinging with an axe. About 5 minutes later my arms were dead and i noticed i had gone after all 4 corners without thinking the roof will fall right on my head so stopped. It worked wonders though i was happy as anything after that.

If I get pissed IRL, I usually pick up any random Beat'm'Up (currently DBZ Tenkaichi 3 for the Wii!) and vent my anger there.

So it's the opposite world for me, I get angry IRL, I vent it off in a game, I don't get angry because of a game and then vent it off IRL.

Actually the last parts a bit of a lie, I do remember breaking a few hundred dollars worth of PS1 controllers. (Fuck you stupid easy (but mind breaking at the age of 10) Alundra puzzle!)

Games do give the urge to act violently, towards the game. And the game alone.
(...)
What you should blame a bit, is the parents who buy PG rated games to 8 year olds...

well if the kids dont act violently towards each other when playing pg (assuming pg is 18+?) then why shouldnt the parents?

hard to say if its the games fault or human mechanics though

Because a PG rating 15-17-18-21 is there for a reason.

You don't buy kid alcohol, don't buy him f*cking manslaughter 3000.
