Started playing DAoC again 2 days ago, and been seeing wierd things on my client.
For 1, you know when the further away you get from a person, certain parts start to blur, not visible for the naked eye ofcourse, but I've been having it a bit extreme, upclose on my char (with camera) I see nice and smooth graphics, but zooming out even like 2/3cm makes the face/graphics/cloaks/shields, you name it, blurry already.
It's quite a horrid sight. All I did was update my Nvidia drivers to the latest version and ofc DAoC downloaded 1.69.
So I'm wondering, should I revert drivers back to <53.03 and see if it vanishes, or does anyone know if DAoC generates any sort of .cfg/ini file for Graphical settings? I've changed it in the options menu, Viewing distance (tried all settings too) and it was set on high, as always.
Any suggestions?
Computer specs are;
AMD XP 2000+ @ 1.67ghz
768mb DDR 333 Ram
Geforce 4 TI 4400 @ Forceware 61.77
Running Windows 2k with latest updates/service packs
Never had this before btw, only after updating DAoC and the drivers.
Would be gutted if it was the drivers :\
