Discrimination against stealth classes

I was in lyonesse today, a guy named baff <Fellowship of the North> pm'd me to ask if i would join his pygme goblin group. When i arrived there i was surprised he wouldnt invite me altough he had 2 spots left in his group. His excuse was that they needed a sorc to mezz. Here is a little chat log:

I died on the way coming there and to hear this lame excuse when i get there just pisses me off. people like u make me sick baff uke:

I had a group yesterday and it had 5 rogues in it, we never died once while taking purple con monsters. I think people should stop discriminating stealth classes, we got to lvl to you know?

If you want to level easily dont play a scout - its the same way its always been.

At pygmys/tanglers/trees in Lyonesse most people when making a group know pretty much which classes they want for most (if not all) of the 8 slots. A scout is not essential.

You can pull - so can other classes.
You can do damage - so can other classes.

You cant heal, mezz, or even tank - its not surprising scouts are not the most popular of classes in this type of group.

Of course most groups have room for 1 or 2 of these unpopular classes, and running all the way to a group only to find its a wasted trip is never good

They had 2 spots left at PYGME GOBS they had enough tanks so yes room for scout and a sorc...

u sir are an idiot it is posible to lvl any class fast if u put youre mind to it and have the time. want proof? msg Sharpend ingame (me scout) and il tell u the /play, ohyea, prepare for a shock

Xplo I was in Baff's group from about 3-4pm (BST) and we had four stealthers in the group then, 2 infils, 1 minst and a scout so I don't think it's fair to say Baff is discriminating against stealthers.

I know that at one point we had 2 slots free, 1 often due to people going LD and the other we were saving for a caster to balance the group. Now I've grouped with you before and know you are good at what you do but we had all agreed as a group to save the last spot for a caster. At least pass blame to whole group and not just Baff, it's often the case a grp leader has to bow to grp wishes.

no he is complaining about some group leader msg'ed him to join gobos grp and when he showed up he was told they didnt want him.

Peeps like that should not be grp leaders=)

Ignore ppl at tanglers.

North of relic in yggdra, target = oracles, go go!
Best from 2 am -> 8 am.

I made my scout without a guild, never had one (and yesteday got, yay). I love lvl 45+ for a scout, ppl don't mind having a scout in a wintherwood-grp, kiss for that.

Also try solo at alb-frontier, those trees, just remember:

* U can't outrun trees.
* U can't slam + 2 arrows in them, since they got dmg-shield.

Erm.......whoever called draylor an idiot has obviously never grouped with him - he's anything but lol! A more experienced and decent player you'd be harder to find! He is however, forthright with his opinions, which imho is NOT a bad thing! Calling someone an idiot because you happen to disagree with him is hardly good gamemanship now, is it?

Sharp: Experienced players can level alts in no time at all. I didnt get the impression that this was someone with their alt scout (or else they'd have seen 10+ such threads before) and so thats how I replied.
