Disabling findfast

How do I disable this runting little program permanently, i've googled to me hearts content, disabled it from control panel > add/remove programs > components > indexing and also the indexing service from services.msc. The bloody thing still runs and is running when I boot up me machine. Bah!

Is there something i've missed here, because those two places are the only ways i've discovered to tell it to get the fk off my machine .


ps, scanned for viruses that might be affecting ti to no avail also.

Maybe a bit obvious, but check the startup folder in the programs menu

try the startup and services tabs in msconfig too
