While performance gains of current/older cards are big, it's not like current titles can be converted, it's only future titles.

It should be nice for 4k and VR going forward though.

To be honest, this is probably the biggest news for XB1/PS4, if they can move to DX12 then they might be able to make 1080p/60fps.

Probably, I'm still not that convinced the XB1 GPU is all that great, on paper its meant to be 50% slower than the PS4 GPU, not sure how much of that is truth.

Not sure why, unless I'm missing something that benchmark says if you've got a 980 like mine the benchmark runs about 2.5x faster? More like bring on free update to Win10!
