I have ordered this evening from Direct2Drive.co.uk, no codes and download yet, i guess it will be available the day open beta starts. Btw, its a few euros cheaper then EAstore.

Guys i just went onto Direct2drive checked my account and Warhammer status and the pre-order button has changed my download.

Clicked it and it said it will send a beta code to my email so go get clicking!

Yeah then everything would be complete and would be just a case of waiting for it to start

Well, it says on the download section on the war eu site, that everyone can download the client, but only the ones with codes can use it.. So my guess is that it comes with some sort of account creation, and thats what we need the codes for..
I ordered from D2D like a week ago, and i got my code today.
So top dollar service imo.

No because we will be using the exact same version for the headstart which is almost retail so i doubt it.

we are waiting for the login page to go live... so for now you have a key and a client.. but no way to connect the two

You can make an account on www-war-europe.com anytime you want. We are going to get the code entry page sometimetime this week.

There wasn't anything new for closed beta as such. A few more options in the menus like access to the closed beta forums and CB client download. Otherwise everything else was/is the same. When the code entry places is unveiled it will be new to everyone.
