Anyone have experience with these? Ideally I would like to be able to watch freeview tv on my PC, as I don't really have room for a TV beside the PC, and the ability to use it as a PVR would be useful...

Not 100% sure on this, but the card I was looking at for the same reasons as yourself was this WinTV Nexus-S:

http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/html/digitaltv_prod.htm#dvbs

It has a built in freeview decoder, the functionality to connect it to a satellite dish / cable and support for digital radio.

Hauppauge gives the possibility of entering the Digital world of Satellite with its digital card WinTV-Nexus-s! It will be able to receive Digital Free to air Television, and to have a fast access to Turbo Internet. Note - Digital Satellite Dish required. Get digital video broadcasts on your PC: Receive free-to-air digital TV and radio stations directly on your PC! WinTV-Nexus-s is a single slot DVB receiver board which brings digital satellite broadcasts (TV and radio) to your PC. Digital reception provides incredibly sharp TV pictures and near CD quality radio. With WinTV-Nexus-s, you can watch digital TV broadcasts in a resizeable window on your PC screen and listen to digital radio in stereo. WinTV-Nexus-s lowers the cost of digital TV reception by using your PC's processor to decode the TV image. If you have a 400MHz Pentium II or faster, you can use Nexus-s to display TV while still running other PC's applications. Surf the net while you watch high quality digital TV.

available from overclockers.co.uk:

I thought it was really pricey for what it is, but iirc standalone digital tuners cost ~£100.

Edit: There is a "freeview" one for digital terrestrial only called the WinTV Nova-t. http://www.stuff-uk.net/acatalog/z_ST-909.htm - this may be a lot better for you as it costs ~£90 (shop around tho) from that site. This isn't suitable for me, as it doesn't support satellite I believe.

Spec here http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/html/digitaltv_prod.htm#novatpci

Custom title methinks, Leggy is also running around with one, 'banned' - it won't take Deebs long to ban them from the list of words you can use ;)

We payed for the right to have custom titles, as long as they dont break the coc I dont see whats wrong with them. Forum should be removed from banned words for those who want to masquerade as Forum Deity as well.
