Okay. Did my first thing today (First time at gym since middle of November) - As I'm working on mass loss primarily, I'll focus on doing cardio. Here be my stats for today (I'll do a weighing every wednesday)

Weight: 12st 13pounds
Tredmill: 30minutes - 3.25KM (Run/Jog) - 7km/h to 12km/h
Row: 5m - 1000m (8/12)

What I'm actually aiming for:
Weight: 11st 7pounds / 11st
Tred: 25m - 4km - 10km/h
Row: 25m - 5km (10 / 12)

Great stuff. I ain't messing about mind. Going to be recording all the entries in this post in my little black dieting book. Going to be hard work for all - including me.

Whats with the losing muscle wt? What for?

Im training for the army. Having a lot of muscle just makes you a worse runner/swimmer.

I can add any sport to the Endurance Log/Dieting Program. You can enter data for the popular sports now - such as bike, gym, running and swimming. I will add a few more such as rowing and treadmill. No hardship to enter any sport you might be interested in.

You should be able to use the service now if you log into the site. I haven't tested it yet for any new members but I will very soon.

I have altered it so that you can enter data on a daily basis if you want. I have allowed 6 meals - 3 main and 3 snacks. You can record each meal contents daily if you really want to check on your intake. I will be trying to do this. You can also record you weight on a daily basis if you so wish. The BIG weigh in though will be Wednesday morning.

Best to get really accurate electronic one. Quite a lot of these scales are very inaccurate and your results can fluctuate like crazy. An electronic and very accurate scales shouldn't be an expensive purchase now.

Overdriven, Mey, Gorbachioo, Ch3tan, Mikah75, TdC, Zebolt, Zita are all active now on the Training/Dieting log. I will send the password to you using Freddy's messenger. I suggest you alter the email address (made them up) and password straight away. If you don't want to update the log yourself I will attempt to update the program for you from this post.

I think I have lost weight setting this up!

Great - seems it is working then.

I took out that exercise box on the gym and just left the comment box instead.

Fuggz, thanks for doing that, but I have no interest in keeping an online training log. I keep one anyway, I am happy to post my progress here, but nothing else. if you could kindly remove my nick from that log.

Hmmm.. Mind taking me off the list too? Seems like a good place for everyone to write it, but I think I'll keep my own log (as I did previously) but keep it updated here.

Sure. You all getting cold feet cos it set on public? I can make it private so no-one bar you can see it - I think.

Nah, that's not the problem at all (I'm gonna post stuff on here anyway) it's just easier this way I think  Plus it's generally quicker (imo)

Ok. The program was for my benefit really so I could keep score on weight loss etc. It was either try and write stuff down from this post or use an online diary. The Training/Diet Log will be very useful for the die hard trainers amongst us who need to analyze training and diet in detail.

You can change your preferences easily on the Training/Diet Log and alter your settings from Public to Private. That way only you can see the results when you are logged in. I don't give a damn who sees my training and diet so my results are open for viewing to all - public (Bluesplayer).

Well done.

Mey you put on weight too?

Me I lost about 3lb which considering I have had a few lapses with booze and chocs I am quite surprised about. Then again I am upping my running a lot now to twice a day. Grats me!

Way to go guys, nice lot of motivation I see here.

Scuce me for butting in but (harhar) I found it mega helpful when I wanted to shift weight and stay cheerful about it to not only weigh myself but to take measurements of thighs, biceps, waist, hips and tbh when you dont seem to have lost any weight on the scales you see you have lost cm's in actual mass, also its really quite good fun to keep a chart and then compare your original measurements etc to your current ones, makes you feel really good!

I weigh meself at the beginning of the month usually; weight for last weigh in was 138.6 lbs (5 foot btw) and i was 163.8 (hehe good eh?) anyhoo be back for next weigh in, good luck kids!

Some good ideas there. Will build some options into my training/diet program

I am using my online Training/Dieting program - see Bluesplayer from drop down listing - 'Select User'. If you want to use this program then follow these steps:

Register and login
Pick the type of post you want to make in Training/Dieting
Write your stuff
Save it

Once you have done the above your name will appear in the drop down listing. If you want to keep this totally private (only viewable by you when logged in) then click on 'My Preferences' on the Training/Dieting page and switch from 'Public' to 'Private'.

tbh your weight is nothing to be embarrassed about, i mean jeeze it doesn't define whether you are a good person or how bright you are or anything it is just how much you weigh, its like people being ashamed of their age lol.

I was never embarrassed to say how much i weighed and i was a right little chubber, i mean saying i was 11.5 stone didn't reveal anything about me because people could plainly see i was overweight lol and no ammount of cunning, conceling clothing was going to help hehe.

I've lost 1lbs not really done much physical training at the minute, been lazy because of the sun! But the revision starts tomorrow, so will try to keep this upto date :p
