My question is did you order CE because it offered open beta access and a head start.

And you thought that it was goping to start about the 15th/08/08


If this is the case would you still order it knowing that its nowhere near the 15th and that its only for 1 week


I myself feel like ive been ripped off in a small way . although i can live with it i still feel let down.

ive paid up front for my games and have been told for one of them NO refund what so ever. even though ive got nothing from them.

Nah, I've been a Warhammer fan since I was a wee lad, so I wanted all the extra stuff. The betas really don't matter at all that much to me, although it would be nice to check out the classes prior to release.

One week really doesn't seem much for that, considering I won't be able to play 24/7 due to work.

since HS seems like it will be the same for both SE and CE.

5 copies of CE at £59.99, compared to £29.99 for SE.

Me my two boys and my sisters boys. umm surpose i can just cancel and reorder the SE's no worries.

I wanted the box and the gimmicks. I'm going to be playing this game for quite a while and since it's such a group effort for so many things. The headstart wouldn't have meant jack unless everyone had a CE.

Will be buying the SE edition though as £60 is expensive for a game you might not even like.

I bought the whole package but mostly the CE box itself and all the goodies was irresistable The open beta was a bonus but headstart was very important as a GM.

i only went with CE because at the time we were lead to believe CE would be the only version of the game getting beta access and a headstart...

i could still cancel my preorder and go with the normal copy of the game but i supose i may aswell get the extra heads and quests....

Look - even if you decide you dont like it you can flog it on ebay - my mate sold his special edition WoW box for more than it originally cost him and he'd used the keys it was just the bits in the box!

OB and head start = oh yes, oh yeessss, oh yeeesssssssss!!!!!
items = junk
heads = no thanks
titles = who needs um
lead fig = no use
mouse mat = dont need
art book and novel = hmmm might be ok
nice box = will just gather dust

will prob resell all my other bits to try and recoup some dosh.

i also thought that this would be the only way to get such things.

i got my CE on order at the start of may.

feel a little let down, but hey-ho, not to long to wait now.

just hope goa wont let us all down.

I'm panicking about my CE now.

Bought the preorder at HMV in L'pool months ago but they didnt ask me for any details so assumed there was a code or something inside the case that you used to collect your CE. Now I've moved to newcastle so there is no way of me getting back to the HMV I bought from. Anyone got any ideas as to how I can get a full CE cos I've got the preorder pack but am uncertain how to get my full cE when it's released.

Suggest calling the HMV you got it from and ask if they can deliver it or transfer it to your local one I guess. That's my issue, if I pre-order from here, I leave this county the day the game goes live -_-

Head start is nice but TBH it is the other bits I really want. You can't take your toon from open beta anyway and I figure Ill be playing for years
