Wish Coj would come back :(

By far the best ani in rvr, showed alot of people what an ani could do in rvr. Alot of people were against inviting him to grp's at first, but then realised the huge potential an animist can give to a grp, if played well like he did.

Coj and Kerghan prolly the best, non-fotm-pl rvr animists that i know of.

Problem is its not an easy class to play in roaming rvr unless you know all of your spells and abilities....i know this is obvious, but i have met a great deal of animists in RvR who stop and shroom, stop and shroom and thats all they know how to do.

Edit: /hug Rob, sup nub :)

heh I never liked my animist in rvr. Was probably cause I was never
invited to groups tho so mostly soloed. Ran to emain or odins or whatever
spammed shrooms and waiting from someone to PA me or attack me
killed 2 or 3 then died and ported back.

Looking back now Im kindof wishing that I had kept my druid, or made a bard
or eld even. Would gladly trade shoes with any of those classes.

I solo'ed my animist to 50 b4 ToA. Now he's RR5. RvR can be a lot of fun. AoE bombers are great. Power fonts make nice targets. I'll put down a few Tanglers if i have time, nice to break assist train + interupt. And I reckon every Animist should try the Forrest Ambusher atleast once, purely for the amusement factor, b4 it's removed from the game. Not always easy to get a group, especially if people know you have a RR6 druid.

We in JH ran with one animist some times at pryd, worked quite well, if he was fast with the shrooms.. Also assist with some very angry spirits.. If the shrooms got up fairly fast it worked out quite good.. If hes played right its allright.

Strange thread in my opinion.

On mid MLF we used to whine constantly about the overpowered animists. Actually the animist was the prime target in RvR, even before the bard. If we couldn't get him down before he got up 4-5 shrooms our chances of winning dropped considerably. Maybe you all don't realise how insanly annoying shrooms are for the opposing casters/healers.

In addition to shrooms arborial specced animists have the highest delve dd of all classes, the highest delve aoe dd and a very useful lifetap. They can also choose celt for race, which makes it a lot harder for mid/alb MA's to pick them out.

I'm actually surprised there aren't more animists around in RvR.

Do you all know, that shrooms will be nefed in next patch?? Its HP will decrease by 60% => 1 specc aoe DD and your shroom pool is ...., or just 2 melee hits by any class will have the same result (altough not aoe).
I like animists alot, but I am really disgusted, how mythic treate this class ... they are not able to solve class bugs (bomber pathing; bomber unable to fly and hit ppl standing on the keep wall etc.) but continue with nerfing ... (i think 60% HP down is too much for the class with sttic pets)

Got to RR4 and decided to have rest as I was sick of trying to get rvr grp!

Found shroom and tempest (ML9 waterdrip) worked very well in keep takes/def. Pity found very few others to drop tempest at doors. This gives nice rps.

For all those moaning at the 'overpowered' anim should go read TL report and see what we should be LOL!!

i don't play animist or hib, but 60% is harsh by any standards. after all, the pets can't move, are easy to avoid (in many situations), and are easy enough to kill with AoEs anyway
