fall for what? there is nothing to fall for. look at the colors page. its not about falling for anything, its simply asking "why". why would nasa show fucked up colour pictures to the public while having the true colour ones them selves? like they got blue sky pictures but they release only ones with red sky to the public. also look at the European Mars express photo. its a good quality photo with all the right colours yet nasa releases all the shit quality ones to the public.

we will never know the real reason to any of it but it doesnt mean its not interesting. and its nothing to do with "falling" for anything is it?

on the subject of mars, why is it that its not possible for life to live there?(different topic i know). just because we need these conditions on earth, it doesnt mean other forms of life need the same. just something i always thought and could never find an answer to.

Those images that appear to show manipulation of colours by the different colours on the sundial are very easily explained. They are composite images built from a camera reading light at different wavelengths. They are not images created by a camera that views things in a way similar to the human eye. Thus, anyone who is taken in by this, is a moron, and needs to check their facts.

With regard to the 'blue sky' in the images from the press conference, the site's author is clearly incompentant for not checking first to see how colour temperature is interpreted differently by photographic mediums than to the human eye. And even if this proves not to be the case, the only reason for the Martian sky to be blue would be if it contained certain gasses, gasses which would clearly be visible to any amateur astronamer with the correct equipment for reading colour absorption.

I've seen it all before, its laughable, none of these 'fake' sites are anything but the uneducated writings of a suspicious mind. None of them present their evidence in an unbiased manner. I bet a 10 year old could dismiss most of these 'claims', since he/she would clearly have a higher IQ than the site's author.

Perhaps because they use different post-production methods? Perhaps because what you and I consider to be nice, the people who know about these things consider to be false colour imaging? Like just about every telescopic image of any stellar body in this universe?

Also, why would mars have a blue sky? Its atmosphere is extremely thin, but quite windy, and the mars surface is predominantly covered in red dust.
