DFI Lanparty UT3 250GB and Packet Loss

I upgraded my PC recently with this mobo. Whenever I zone whilst using the onboard ethernet controller I go LD. But its wierd, I can see everyone elses chat, and see them move and fight, and this lats for around a minute before I get disconnected. This wasn't that big of a deal, as I just switched to wireless when playing DAoC.

This morning though, I was playing CS and I was getting intermittent packet loss of around 25%. This never occured straight after the upgrade, as I was playing CS more than DAoC due to the disconnect thing, and everything was fine.

Anyways, I've searched google very briefly and can't find any info on this issue. I'll be buying a seperate ethernet controller to make my life easier when playing DAoC, but would like to know if anyone else has had this problem.

well known problem with nVidia netcards

what ya needa do:

right click my computer -> manage -> Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> nVidia netcard thingy -> right click it -> Properties -> Advanced -> Offload Checksum -> Disabled

and that should solve your problem, solved mine anyway

just reinstalling daoc, gona see if either work for me
