df - bug?

Hmmm sure some of you have noticed that if you group, disband and try pulling solo you'll get the same amount of mobs come at you as you did when you were grouped, same if you help a group next to you thats getting killed, next time you pull you get wacked by 3 mobs or so. Have to relog to get rid of it but its just so annoying, got my thane killed three times last night just forgetting to relog after groups.

This being fixed or ?

Also, when you die, do you get your level X amount of minutes till you auto release? or is it still a bugged 20 for everyone?

BAF's (Bring A Friend) are calculated on a pull by pull basis, so if you aid a party, next pull you get the corresponding BAF. (You can reset your BAF flag by quickly logging out and back in again (just as far as the character selection screen, rather then the game totally), or by killing a non-baf'ing mob (therefore next time you kill a BAF mob it remembers your last fight with the non-baf which you solo'd)

There ya go, it isn't a bug

I get some really weird 'target not visible' messages too, when the mob is clearly out in the open with no obstructions.

It's always been like that, actually. It just didn't show as clearly as in DF where everything is aggro. =)

With Glauthrong at the pit with the Lesser Gretch, I tend to kill one or two blue/yellow, then kill a solo rocot. Just to be safe.

Tried shift+n? shortcut to toggle between displaying names and not.

I think the names comment was: Not everyones names are showing above their heads.

I also have observed this, most odd. Seen it before DF opened as well, and it seemed to be certain guilds whose name (and guild obviously) weren't showing. Haven't checked if this is the case in DF though.

I had the problem with the names not appearing on some people as well, in Darkness Falls.

According to a groupmate at the time I would not be able to heal those I didn't see the names of, but I could heal them, yes I could daddy!

I have lost the lightning effect on some of my spell on my Thane too,i dunno if it is a DF only problem,since i havent been out yet.But i asked some other thanes,and they have also lost the effects on some of their spells.

Aye my Thane has lost a spell affect , happened a few levels ago to , but got it back next time I levelled , also seeing various people in DF with no names .

Yup Vaci also if a few ppl help you whack a tough mob the next pull gets you baf like those people was grouped with you.

Not much to do about it.
