Apparently the last episode ( 11 ) broke the network viewing record for Showtime which is pretty goddamn impressive given their lineup.


Should mean a few more seasons of awesome at least.

In the books the kids are a lot more "darker" I think. Maybe they will do something about that? I think Cody has a dark passenger himself. (Not sure tho since I have only read the first one yet)

That episode was amazing, I swear I nearly fucking cried at the end.

Season 5 promises to be very very good with the set-up.

Dexter is probably the best TV there is at the moment.

Yes you are, it was overflowing with awesome. Just watched e11 and e12 (don't know HOW I managed to not watch 11 alllll week) back to back and it was so so good..

the last 2 minutes of the finale was spent mostly with my jaw on the floor. Tbh I thought (from reading people's comments on here largely) that the finale was over-rated, until that happened at the end!

Christine offing herself was a tad predictable, from about when she asked Deb for forgiveness anyway.

Great TV though, agree with ECA about new season awesomeness rankings. Seasons 2 and 3 have faded in my memory after watching this.

If Christine had jumped to her death instead of shooting herself it would almost have been the cycle all over again. Scott Smith (the boy), who admittedly didn't die, the woman in the bath was Rita, Trinity forcing Christine into thinking she had no option but to commit suicide (although not as blatantly as the jumpers) and Trinity himself being bludgeoned to death by Dexter at the end. Or was that the point all along and I only just realised?

I guess we would've seen it coming a mile off though if Christine had beckoned Deb to the top of a tall building to confess. I did think for a second she was gonna shoot Deb though! Again.

Californication S3 finished pretty explosively as well, Showtime is on a roll!
