What wold be considered to be a good amount of dex/pie on a Rm for rvr ? - I have 360 dex & 296 pie but not happy with quickness/damage

386 on Saracen with AugDex III is quite cheap, but then again they can't be Runemasters .

I think I had about 380 dex and 311 int on my sorc, or something like that, and I was perfectly happy with it (tho getting it higher never hurts ).

Just get 380 dex + 10% casting speed.
Acuity is not that important. Put your points in WP then MoM and leftovers in acuity.

Saracen has 396 with dex3 if u started with 15 dex at creation.

think my cabby(saracen) is 396 dex / 328ish int (dex3/acu3)
and my sorc(inconnu) is 393 dex / 328ish int (dex4/acu2)

if u can get the above with decent lvls of mom/wp then i think u will be happy with ur dmg, i know i am .

Kobbie caster with +10 dex at creation and Aug Dex III would have 381 dex. I remember someone saying that past 300 acuity you have diminishing returns, not sure how true that is.

My runie has 371 dex (+10 str at creation to avoid the debuff root... ) and 309 pie. Casttime could be a tad faster (dark/supp spec), but nothing wrong with damage.

If my SM on classic had capped specs she would have 312piety (from charge though) and 349dex without any augs.

Well as kobold its:

after that Id get MoM3 and wp3, before starting in on augpiety...

saracen/lurikeen hit 386 in dex with augdex 2 but then again they cant be rms since they are alb/hib races!

If you believe the tests from that US guy, AA is not that bad and MoM > WP when it comes to RvR. There is a quite good table for that, lemme check

imho:

386dex+9% TOA will bring you within 1% cast speed of someone with 420 dex and TOA 10%.

mom > wp. Keep mom one level higher or the same for best overall return.

PIE well put in what you can, but cast speed, mom and wp are probably better investments if your using capped SC.

Tested this via logs many times, so please save your breath if you want to critisise my advice based on something you read on VN or 'felt' while investing in too much aug dex

it failed, badly you never had 396 dex with aug dex 3


my kobold rm has 381 dex and 336 pie (aug dex3 and aa4). that was with 10/10/10 and creation (pie/dex/con)

i could do with more dex for the rc bseline nuke, but to be fair i dont use it much

well when I made this char a couple of years ago I put all the points into pie & dex thinking at the time its better to hit harder & quicker but now realising I suffer from low hit points (1800 buffed). Tbh its not a bad spec atm I have my 10 casting speed 40 power pool 10 spell range 10 spell piercing and 8 spell damage, I was just curious to see what other casters had & listen to opinions of caster players, I find I get out casted many times - or may be its just a simple case coz I dont play the char much I dont play it well enough

1400-1500 is normal hits for a buffed caster and u have 1800, what are u, a WL on stereoids?

not even a buffed celt animist would come close to 1800 hits with standard 75/200 in template, not wihout ra´s anyway, and hes a kobbie RM, woot

They stack? Used to have 1850hps or something on solo template, over 2k hp with champ charge and 705AF or so . Did have some skimpted resists and stuff - bet u could knock up one without too bad resists post 1.85.
