Dex caps

From the countless posts I've read on the subject. Please bear in mind that this is the best approximation that's been possible to come up with so far, as its very problematic testing casttimes.
Castspeed
Casttime cap is 40% of delve value on spell.
A dex attribute of 430 and will cap your castspeed using any spell.
With 10% spellhaste 404 dex will cap your castspeed.
Casttime is calculated using this formula :
[casttime] = [delve] x (1 - ([dex] - 70)/600) x (1 - ([Toa%]/100))
Most people seem to agree that going above 380-390 dex is not worth the effort.

mm, i believe theres a missunderstanding ehre xd
most of us are saying that it dont seem to be _worth_ the points over 38x/39x dex, not that there is a cap.. and then again it also depends on the spells delve..
for instance, i switched from augdex4 to augdex3 and also from light to mana, 2.8 vs 2.6 spell, thus i didnt 'miss' those 12 dex points a tiny bit..
but hey, why try to clear up things with a constructive post when u can slag ppl all over with the 1line post standard!1 r3tards!!231

sowwy, i fall to the standards myself.
The point is augacu/wp/mom will also increase ur dps, wo increasing your mana consumption over time. Taking a handful of variables (realm rank, playstyle, own preference..) each player gotta decide for himself weither to spend 10/14 points on casting 0.1secs faster or on something else.

The casters that should definitly go for Aug.Dex are utility casters like CC'ers, debuffers, etc...
Yes, increasing your cast speed has some advantages, as in theory it allows you to interrupt someone else faster, etc... But this isnt a 'huge' change (imho)... And a lot of it is wasted on lag / how fast you 'click' on your target...
If I was still playing my wiz, I would go high wp/mom/acu, but not 'that' high aug.dex...
