Dex for slash inf.

Was wondering if anyone know for sure what it does. I mean does it affect evade or anything? Couldnt find anything on VN-boards for the past months so desided to ask here.

Dex & Quickness does affect evade. Don't think it does anything else for a slash infil.

Afaik, dex = parry and block..... quick = evade

It was tested on the US servers, the difference between 125 dex and 275 dex was 4 extra evades out of 100. (used a shadowblade to test tho)

Might have just been luck :| but apparently it does effect evade slightly

Depends what tests you look at. Some tests have shown dex is every bit as important as quick for deciding evade chance.

Thanks everyone. This is just why I asked. Read VN-boards and saw one post ages ago about it and it stuck in my mind. Now im making my toa temp finally ready when all my other chars are about done and leaving dex would give me lots of options what to take more.

= No. This is DAoC, not some other MMORPG Where dex affects stuffs ;|


And yup, testing >>>>> Mythic. Hence I doubt dex affecting evade that much aswell.

It however gives a slash inf more xbow damage :€

We can test it tonight with my Inf

(say 500 unstyled attacks with No Dex and then 500 unstyled attacks with +150 dex)

Believe its something like this for offence

Weapon Skill + Style Bonus

Believe its something like this for defence

Primary + Secondary + Tertiary

Evade (lvl) + WS + Stat mod (Quick)

Block (lvl) + WS + Stat Mod (Dex)

Parry (lvl) + WS + Stat Mod (Dex)

I am pretty sure weaponskill works like this:

Say like you have 2100.

2100/3= 700.

If the target has 700af or lower, you will cap on it if you are not debuffed/diseased.

Anyway, if i had a slash inf, i would put dex down as last stat to cap(i would try cap it but wouldn't bother me so much if i couldn't), qui is way better.
