Freddys,
So I've got this intermittent issue with my powerline adapters (i've got two - one in my study, one in my living room plugged into the router) where the connection seems to drop between the adapters. It's usually only temporary and it seems to reconnect itself after a few minutes. The time between dropouts seems to be around 20 to 30 minutes. I've tried the following when it occurs:
- disable / enable the LAN port on my PC
- unplug the ethernet cable then plug it back in
Neither of those do anything, so I tried the following:
- disabled all power save features on my LAN port
- disabled all power save features on both Devolo adapters
- updated both Devolo adapters to most recent firmware
- checked the BT Homehub 4 is on the most recent firmware
None of these have worked, it still drops out intermittently. The Homehub does not appear to be the issue as it is not reachable when the issue occurs (devices connected wirelessly to the router continue to function).
Any ideas?
