note - warning - madonion.com forums are full with people having probs with these drivers. It seems although they r supposed 2 b compatible with all cards at least 1/3 dont work properly especially anything lower than GF2GTS. I thought it was fine on meh GF2mx. . . .that was until my pc kept repetetively jamming every 10 minutes. Good job i kept the old ones. everything is fine now

to any1 without a GF3 i would not recomment em. i managed 2 run 3dmark and the improvement was only about 1%.

they suk. . .and thats why nvidia dont give technical support . they would need about 1000 people to deal with the complaints

These drivers totally screwed my sys over (geforce sdr on win2k).
After looking at the comp i realised that agp wasn't working :/

So after a lot of hair pulling ive upgraded to xp, and the drivers work fine this time (and agp is finally working).

Nvidia drivers really are a pain in the arse

I have to say these drivers, they work fine for me.

THey are not as good in opengl as 12.41's but better in direct3d.
this is good as 12.41's were shite in direct3d.

I have no problems with them, infact they make my dx games more stable.

Oh well, looks like they did rush the release somewhat, if it dont work for you just use another version.

Have to say the new drivers made sweet FA difference to my PC.

I benchmarked twice with 3DMark 2001 under the old drivers and averaged 2668 and then did it again with new drivers getting 2660.

shit i installed the new drivers when the post started, i have a gf2 mx, i havent had and problems with it, but from what others said it sounds like i might do in the future, due to my newbieness i didnt bother keeping mah old drivers, i dont even know what they were, anyone know where i can get some ones that will work if these start to fuck up?

(well usually the previous release neway)

Theres a link to it on the dl drivers page on nvidias site (copy the target of the dl from the ftp, and go through the ftp that way)

well, I've installed them. No problems. Games seem to run slightly smoother, but there is no significant performance jump.

the linux drivers [openGL] are quite good. imo better than the last batch, and allow my system to run any game I choose [UT, tribes2, Q3, et al] at high fps, full eyecandy etc. [still working on t2 tho them h00ge landscapes woo]

On the other hand, the drivers I installed for w98se [that I have installed on a spare partition] havn't done much of anything that I can see in d3d, and are totally crap in openGL.
dunno about the other windows variants tho

Uh these drivers were useless for me... diablo2 refused to work in w2k once I installed them so I uninstalled them again pronto.

Only good thing about them was they gave me a 3dmark score of 1337 which I thought was funny
