Det affecting immunity

I had this thought today and decided to throw it in the air.

Would Det affecting also immunity timers change a thing?

a tank with Det5 would be able to be messed again in 15secs instead of the 1min, would it change a thing?

in less then 1min a tank could be mezzed 28sec ;/

Better than being mezzed for 7secs in the same period of time?

you'd be able to chain CC too..
root while he's mezz immune for 7sec etc

Well det was introduced to the game since tanks more or less were useless in rvr when CC classes could spam mezz em for, well for as long as they wanted or untill the tank logged out in boredom.
So the tanks got det, ae mezz was reduced to 50% at the sides, and resists came in, tho i think the det went too far, since now with luck u can mezz a tank for 7 sec.
Reduce det to 50% of what it is now to give the CCers in all realms a chance to do something

I thought of this a while ago, the 1 minute immunity was thought of before Determination, and is fair enough if you have been mezzed for 30-40 seconds you should get 1 minute of immunity. However now tanks are mezzed for far less time than that yet still get 1 minute of immunity.

Mezz time on det 5 with resists is generally around 8 seconds, 75% reduction on immunity time would take it to 15 seconds, would certainly be an interesting fix to determination :)

As for chain mezzing/rooting, you can pretty much do that to any class without det atm anyway.

mezzed for 10, immune for 10..

Will force tanks to make choices..

Just stop det for tanks @ L3 imo. Give Hybrids upto L2 det and casters upto L1 det.

Oh and FFS, all classes should get 4 pt cost on purge imo. I can just about understand why mythic made det only on tanks but giving purge cheaper to tanks is wrong.

Yer I dont see why tanks are the only class to receive cheaper RA's.

Either make a standard cost for all classes or give other classes some cheap RA's as well. For example MoC and Majestic Will could be cheaper for cloth wearing casters, Raging Power and Mystic Crystal Lore could be cheaper for healing classes...

as aussie said, ull be chain CCed. Rather not have det at all then.

And what choices exactly do u have to make just cuz ure mezzed/rooted 100% of the time?
