Desmona's Ring - GUTTED

On my ML1 raid tonight we got a nice drop: Desmona's ring. Sadly I kept LDing, and it looks like I didn't get the ring after it was traded (recall I LDed just after Desmona was killed). For peace of mind:

Incidentally, I'm more than happy to see GOA look through server side logs and all my characters. I wish to god I had that ring :/

We have done it more than 5 times, and we're not that dumb.

We collected all the 6 charms etc like we always do, never knew you could sos through lava.

We did it the normal way, like we always did, and we got f*ck all.

How come when I tried going though the lava it has an invis barrier, tested with pets too and the same.

Killing it on the other side of the lava also gives u no loot or credit (GM ported a buged TLW raid over and we tried as he couldnt fix it at first).

Seems to stop it bugging you need to run further down the shore line before swinging back towards where the charms settle otherwise they place wrong and go abit :eek7:

I rember passing you the Crown and the ring at Volcanus haven which you delved into chat but i think you went ld shortly after :| So looks like the item was lost then, sorry i cant provide any screens never normaly take them randomly :p

Every ~10mins or so, you see the message "Your character has been saved".
Maybe if you go LD, everything you did after the last save is lost. Of course if you logout normally, your char is saved on loguot.

Could explain how you lost the ring.

afaik the 'your characther has been saved' is only for when the server crashes (you probably would be able to dupe stuff otherwise :p )

Has anyone tried moving the items in their bags to the slots that the loot was in?

Sometimes items go "invis" until they change slot, had it several times :p

I tried that with no lick - I'll log Uma on now to see if it has reappeared.

items dont get lost . or its in the backpack or it has decayed on ground. LD`s dont make items dissapear.

Would contact a gm tbh

just saw this thread and before I have all fingers pointing at me... I was not on the ML1 raid.
I was simply helping a guildie (Sajspurs) with the ML step today and it dropped.


I know there's been a lot of griefing lately , all this arti stealing and such.. but I hope ppl dont make conclusions too early. That's all :)

btw. it's quite easy to move the ring from 1 packpac section to another one, then take screenie, that way it looks like it's not there :> not saying that you did tho maijt :m00:

well all those screenies prove nothing.. u can move ring to another bag then take screenie and we cant notice it on sreenie..

I was given the crown before the ring. I LDed shortly after getting the ring, so I guess that has something to do with the fact that I had the crown but not the ring.

As for the screenies, if you actually took the time to look at them instead of trolling, you will see that they were taken in very quick succession (1 second apart). I certainly didn't move any item in the inventory, and if I tried I don't think I could do it fast enough to deceive anyone.

If only you showed the same degree of intelligence and analysis that I do then you wouldn't make such childish remarks. Recall that I spotted some funny things about Evex's video of him killing you (eg rr4 etc). Do me a favour and treat me fairly. You don't have to resort to crass comments to someone who has actually *defended* you in the past.

I'm quite happy for GOA to investigate. They can scan my characters too. I know they will not find the ring.

I posted these screenies in an attempt to show people I'm not a thief. Sadly it has attracted forum trolls and idiots making shitty remarks.

We did Samut with an FG by running through the lava. Was 1.67 I believe.

i have nothing special against u but those screenies prove nothing for ppl that wasnt on raid etc...
and i m not trolling i just hate when ppl come on fh with no proof and say hey i have proof here just look at this ..


and about evex killing me, he isnt the only one fyi rr1 ns killed me already
(even rr1 thrust infil) and i dont fecking care its so easy when u dont have resist or sc done
