And bollox is literally bollox... it was a case of 'what shall I do with these 90000000000 things on me desktop? I know, move 'em into a new folder so everything looks a bit tidier

Hmm. These are getting a little boring ppl.

Version 2.2 is out and I'm running it now. No probs at all and resource overhead is minimal.
Here's a screeny. It's a fairly subtle one, decided not to opt for N30 W4R3Z and crap like that.

Your desktop looks a lot more heavily modified than the WindowsBlinds skins normally does. Is that Desktop-X doing that?

yeh someguy, thats desktop-x, it uses alot more cpu time than windowblinds, there are two other apps i use icon-packager and web-blinds, the first skins most of the desktop icons and stuff, if you look at the start menu in my pic u will see what some of these look like, and web-blinds is just liek windowblinds but for browser windows only, i would just stick with windowblinds tho, it does a fine job of browser windows, its just that i got web-blinds b4 i found windowblinds and have just stuck with it.
Desktop-x goes quite a bit further to modifying your desktop than any of the other apps, it totally recreates it, with interactive icons and menu's, having looked at some of the linux desktops i would think that it may be similar to using linux, but thats just from appearances, i have never used it so i cant say for sure
Have fun, a great site for skins for all tehse apps is www.wincustomize.com its cool
