descent camcorder?

Hiya,

Im hoping that someone has a bit of knowledge about a descent camcorder to buy, looking for something around 300-400 mark, mostly for family use but also planning on using it on my wedding day in a few weeks time.

im guessing at that price its a budget one, so basically looking for best quality for that amount of cash,

anyone any ideas? or even the things i should look out for. like i said its not for pro use or anything just point and press button type thing! but having looked around myself quite a bit im no closer to knowing whats ghood whats not

Thats a fairly low budget tbh, but having said that you can probably get a reasonable HD camera for that. It's been a while since I bought one tbh, but I found this site pretty useful for camcorder reviews, especially as they do video reviews for most camera's:
