Denser and Shezkebub (spelling?) and DF

Hi guys,

I was in the team that were responsible for your violent slaughter in DF earlier today, I just wanted to check to see that Shezkebub (I'm sorry I can't remember the exact spelling) didn't suffer an unpleasant XP death..

Basically the fight started near the Hibby traders, Shez split up from Denser and as we gave chase and the fight progressed he picked up some aggro, we stunned both mob and Shez and proceeded to taunt the mob while hitting Shez with a DD to finish him off.. I just wanted to check that the death you received was an honourable RvR death and not a painful PvE death precipitated by our zeal.

If anyone knows either can they check with them please

In the event it was RvR then /salute to our valiant foes!

If it was a PvE death then please accept my most sincere apologies /cry

Your'e probably the same bunch of Hibs who exp killed my grey cons cleric last night. There was mid way through hitting a yellow cons deamhaness for 30dmg per tonk of my hammer, when 2fgs of Hibs came steaming round the corner (very near the Alb merchants might I add) then some joker hit me for nearly 400dmg.

Obviously my grey cons cleric mid way through pulling a green cons mob (to you) posed a massive danger to your 16 purple asses, so you felt the need to flatten me, emote spam me then move on.

Hibs, you guys rock !

I think there are culprits in all realms who are pathetic enough to gank greys, so really its unfair pinning it on the hibs

I was with Lyne - we didn't gank grays... they were orange to us, and near the Hibbie entrance halls. 2 Hibernians killing two similar/higher con Albions is hardly that much of a sin...

Sorry such a thing happened to you Chesnor - alas it does happen in all realms, I'm sure - however, as in the case Lyne mentioned, defending members of your own realm from 'older' players is far from going out of your way to exp kill someone.

It's a real shame you've taken it to heart so... and have to make such flagrant assumptions...

As for emote spamming - yes I agree... it's pretty pathetic - from anyone of any realm, and I'm not alone in being embarrassed by perpetrators from Hibernia.

Yes I can confirm that we were not killing greys, Keoine and I were both in the merchant area of the Hib part of the dungion shuffling armor about for one of our alts.

It was while we were doing this that our realm-mates started to be systematically taken out.. We left the confines of the merchant area and took in the scene of our valiant realmies eating dirt, and the retreating backs of two of the enemy.

It was only then that we started to attack, you can sleep well in the knowledge that this was the first time I'd even killed anyone in DF, and the fact that they were orange to us got the adrenalin pumping that's for sure!

I came here to make sure that it was an honourable victory, if I'd really spent the afternoon wiping out grays do you honestly think I'd be here seeking an ethical confirmation of honour.. No I'd most likely be posting things with the subject "Haw haw j00 sux0r, w3 @re teh b3st!" etc etc.

That's just not my bag.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't whining (much) about getting the exp kill, but the emote spam really annoyed me. Shame I didn't have chat logging on, or I would name and shame the muppet.

Nice 1 Lyne, glad to see there is honour on the Prydwen server, all grey gankers suck. and exp killers truley suck and should be made to watch Benny Hill for the rest of their miserable lives.

I will only kill a grey con if I am (or have been) attacked by the individual concerned... and will never ever deliberately cause an exp death..
