Poulsen does these things every now and then. It could just aswell have been Linderoth.

i really dont care who it is. anyone that does shit like that isnt fit to play football. and even less if "he does these things every now and then" fgs.

it's all about the winner mentallity. We've had several players who shouldn't be playing from your point of view then. I remember Grønkjær doing the same thing against Turkey, yet he's still a great sportsman. In fact, some of the greatest footballers ever should be banned. Maradona has done the same thing, Rooney has - the list goes on..

Right, I forgot to add Ronaldinho to the list. He did it last week.

its not a winner mentallity, its a fucking idiot mentallity and yes, ban the fuckers who does it. its stupid to try and defend it (yes you're trying to defend it with your previous comment)

red cards are for these things. Imagine if players got arrested for making a tackle or hitting somebody. Everyone would be afraid to play then.

And yes, it is the winner mentallity.

Well.. that game had just about everything! Great joy, great sorrow and a weird ending.

The most appaling thing, i think, is how the Danish "stewards" patted the offending supporters on the back, instead of removing them forcefully.

Rosenberg (sp?) has just admitted to the danish press that he hit Poulsen with an elbow. He should be banned too then, right? :)

being skilled doesent, or rather SHOULDENT excuse anyone when they use the fists. unless were talking boxing or other such stuff.

i still stand by my point. ppl that cant control their temper shouldent be allowed to play football, or any other simmilar non voilent sport no matter how good they are at it.

/edit: and another wierd part is, they never ever prosecuted for it. they are fucking immune to assault charges it seems.....

lol, that was just tragic. :(

as soon as the game starts to get mildly entertaining a shit player and a retarded "supporter" fucks it up.

i seriously hope Poulsen gets a perma ban. and before u start, i'd think the same if it was a swede that did the punching.

just.... tragic behaviour tbfh.

owell. hes gonna get some serious bitch slapping tho.

You are aware that Henrik Larsson did the same on Jon Jönsson last season in Allsvenskan right? I assume you thought he should have gotten banned then too. Football is about passion, and when there are alot of feelings involved stupid things happens. But its also those games that are by far the best to watch.

Oh and go Sweden, but letting the penalty kick decide it would have been alot more fair to everyone.

it was such a great match and such a great comeback, from 0-3 to 3-3 and we had chances "big ones" for 4-3 and then that happens, but yes i agree personally i would rather that the penalty had been taken. altho imo he should have just given both players the red card and played on without a penalty since they both hit each other, just because poulsen hit last and was in a defending position dosent justify rosenbergs actions..keep that in mind

imo - both players sent off, no penalty and a thow in.

yeah I'm abit bitter, but not for the reasons you might expect, could have lived with a loss to denmark, but it was honestly one of the best games I've seen for a long time, it had everything, and it just ended with Such and anticlimax, that leaves you "hanging" so to speak

Nomatter what the other player did, Christian poulsens action were way off, and should have consequences (sp?). As a pro player he should have the routine and experience to not "loose" it and go mental on the swedish guy, specially given the time of the fight, and how well the danes were controlling the match at that point.

Sure a bloody moron punched the ref, but all this would'nt have happened if poulsen had'nt lost his temper in the first place, poulsen caused the defeat today, not the ref, not the stupid supporter and not the swedes either.

Tonight i was ashamed of being a dane :(

and i still dont give a fucking damn if they even are so passionate about football they have mad sex with the football. if they cant control their temper they dont bloody have anything to do on the field!

its one thing to love to play football and a COMPLETLY diffrent thing to assault another player. and WHEN they do, they really need to have harsher penalties then the puny 1-3 game bans that really dont do jack..

Getting sent off with 5 minutes left and causing a penalty kick for Sweden after Denmark just went from 0-3 to 3-3 is punishment for way more than 1-3 games. That is probably the hardest punishment he can get, and tbh I think deep inside he is happy that the supporter took the attention away from him.

There was actually some idiot that wanted to press charges against Henrik Larsson for what he did (was it you?) but luckily that never happened.

LOL! Fuck off then.. Don't be ashamed of being a dane just because two dumbwits fucks up!

Great game, just a shame it ended the way it did.. First Poulsen, then the guy who can't show his face in public anymore and then the ref who made a REALLY bad decision, imo atleast!

Hopefully this won't mean we can't have spectators at out home games because of one stupid idiot deciding to make a pitchinvasion..

the ref? what did he do wrong? it clearly states in the uefa rules that if their safety cant be guaranteed they should abort the game afaik?!

That may very well happen, doubtfully because of 1 spectator entering the field, but because of 3 doing it and your security guards seeming not to give a fuck about it. But yeah hopefully it wont come to that.

And it was not a bad decision to call off the game, it was needed. Hopefully it sent a signal to other retards thinking of doing the same.

I think Bambi refeers to the incident in the field. Rosenberg and Poulsen had a fight with each other, Rosenberg cleary swinged at Poulsen first but missed, then Poulsen ended it. It was prolly the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen seeing there was about 90 secs left of the match. Imo they were both cocks and should both have been sent off with a big "Fuck Off Wankers" from the audience and we could have kept on playing.

But yes the Ref was right to call off the match, stupid drunk idiot of a supporter.

Ofc the ref followed the rules, I am just a bitter dane on the day after.. I'd rather seen the penalty and perhabs seen Sweden win, but ofc that couldn't happen as the ref didn't feel secure enough to proceed and therfore it ended 0-3

Just heard on the press conference that a little bunch of Brøndby Supports has been banned from the danish international matches and will perhabs be banned from their own club matches, so that helps a little :)

I was right, fecking foul playing danes.

Actually the swede was just as "foul", he just missed..
I by no means agree with what Poulsen did. It was beyond stupid, and he knows.
That being said... i don't even considder it in the same realm of stupidity as the supporter attacking the ref.

Poulsen would get 2-5 games in the bleachers, and tainted his own image abit.

The supporter will most likely get off with a fine, but he tainted the image of an entire nations supporters, who for years has been known as the most pleasant fans in the world, together with the tartan army.

The "support" will most likely be prosecuted and he will most likely pay a very big compensation for all the damages done
