I find, to be bullshit, the premantioned line of "supporters for freedom of speach" to be an ironic, even hypocrite, way of thinking as in supporting denmark, you are saying that muslims should not riot over this, ergo, using their freedom of speach.

i think everyone should go read up on the freedom of speech, it only applies if you are not offending/insulting someone.

if i ran up to a police man and shouting "Die of aids fucking prick" i would expect to be arrested, freedom of speech does not apply and if you read the full rules you would all understand.

Drawing allah or a prophet is not allowed from what i can tell, i had no clue about that...maybe the Danes never knew either? if they never knew then its an honest mistake, how many people here knew of that rule (non muslims)

from the very limited amount of info i know about the freedom of speech they can protest, they also have a valid reason, they are not directly attacking/offending anyone with their protest's.

they are perfectly welcome to protest, and they are perfectly welcome to take the paper in question to court for inciting racial hatred if they so wish... thats what they should have done way back when the pictures were published, instead they kept the pictures, aquired some that werent EVER PUBLISHED travelled to the middle east and helped incite hatred against the west... yes, these people really care about justice to their religion, so much that they would rather be burning down embassies in the middle east rather than taking JP to court like they should have done

I dont know Danish law, or infact the exact law of Freedom of Speach (if its a UN one). So wether or not the cartoons are covered by that or not I dont know and dont care.

The muslim world has every damn right to be fucking offended. But guess what, what followed their offendedness(?) was total and utter crap. I dont care if 99.999% of muslims are super peaceful reincarnations of gahndi, just they are led by zealot crazy leaders who incite hatred, they better sort that shit out or we will.
