Anybody got one/tried one?

I've been using my Desire more and more for reading/web browsing and am really tempted by the Streak.
It looks purty and will just about fit in a pocket.

Anybody got any experience with one?

I had a quick play with one in work and decided it was too big for a phone and too small for a tablet. If i had a long train journey to work where the screen would be useful i would consider it though. If you are just looking for at home it is still not really big enough to replace a browsing laptop.

I tried one of these in the O2 shop when I was deciding which phone to get on renewal. The screen is larger than you expect, but the weight isn't as heavy as you expect. It runs Android 1.6 (Donut) so it's due an update to 2.1 or 2.2 at some point in the near future*, but the UI is smooth enough in normal use. Unlike other Android devices, the default home screen is in landscape and has a number of UI tweaks courtesy of Dell. I can't remember if it was multitouch in the browser but I remember it was a simple thing to zoom in and out.

If you're thinking of something between a mobile phone and an iPad size, hang on for Dell to bring out larger screen versions of the Streak (5, 7 and 10" screens).

* I just checked, there's a leaked version of 2.1 knocking around for the Streak through unofficial channels.
