My gf's dad's got a dell laptop. When he presses shift-2, otherwise known as the @ he gets a "

Anyone know if that's normal? I've never heard of the @ getting replaced by something else in key layouts?

Nice and easy, just set up as a US key layout in control panel rather than UK layout. - check Regional settings in control panel.

Common problem, we UK keyboard users have the at key on the middle row of alphabetic keys, second from the right.

Happens a lot when idiots setup computers. ( ie, I CLICKZ OKAY BUTTON NOWZ )
