If it's a tiny thing unplug it and take it outside. Leave it out there for a few days, job's a good 'un.![]()
Unplug it and put it in the bath/shower for 24 hours.
Trust me. The coolant runs very close to the surface of the walls. Twatting the ice can crack these walls even if your screwdriver doesn't.
I left my freezer in the garden. Amusingly, we had a bbq that night and the large chunks of ice generated by the freezer were very handy for cooling large volumes of beers.
