Go on define it. Then define co-operation. I'm still afraid the middies whine too much about zerg when they are not truly understanding it.

Is 3fg of Sotl a zerg? yes if your 1fg of mids and that is all is in the area

Is 3 fg of Sotl a zerg when mids have 1x 2fg and 2x1fg running around in circles trying to avoid Sotl?

So you stray on 1fg of albs. Guess what while your fighting, Sotl run in afterwards its no surprise really is it. If you feel that you are being zerged well so be it but when they are getting more RA's and you are getting less it wont get any easier.

Midgard seems fragmented at the moment. Someone needs to kick Blej up the butt. A Great leader and rallier of realmsmen in battle and underutilised at the moment. There are others too they just need to take control a bit more.

Now that Nolby pride are in hib. middies need to change and the pieces that have fragmented be bonded again even if not in the same way as they were before.

We have to get used to fighting equal battles and keep trying. I see us try a couple of times then all look at each other as gimps and split if it fails. Noone succeeds first time and when we are not guildmembers used to each other it takes time.

I may now go to Mythic and to ask them to up the group size from 8 -16 as people will then think they have only got half a group. Which is exactly the point you have! Please do not give me any of this 1fg>2fg especially if 1fg has buffbot backing.

A zerg seems to be defined by a number of enemies larger than your total groups player count. A zerg can be of any size. If you are solo, 4 people is a zerg, if you are 2fg, 3fg is a zerg. 10fg, and 12 fg is a zerg. Interestingly enough, the boundary is always some where between the losing side and winning sides player count, as the whiners never claim to be zerging them selves.

Watched a friend play EQ and they have a really nice system where you can make groups of groups...
Its a sort of "raid/hunt party", you still have "your" group but at the same time you can see all other groups in the BIG group and everyone share xp and gold/items (not sure about that tho) this would be great for times when we kill Legion/Dragon or any other large scale activity..
Im sure someone else can explain better but its the basic of how it works

well Ive always defined a zerg like a non mindless group of people just going where the flow takes you.

by knowing what you and everyone else is doing your not zerging, thats what I think anyway.

Why?

NP aren't realm players, they're power gamers who care about 1 thing: RP's.

If you want to beat them, just do what the Albs do, and outnumber them (granted, Albs do that anyway). NP aren't Hibs, we just can't attack them.

There has been far too many complaints from Hibs already about NP in RvR, and they've only been doing it for a few days.

The complaints? Lack of realm spirit. And why do people feel they lack it? Simple, they don't res any Hibs they see. In fact, they kill Mids/Albs, res their dead and then move on, leaving any non-NP Hibs lying there.

They will quickly see that Hib/Prydwen works together, and if they decide not to, they will find it a bit different than what they expect.

Don't get me wrong, they are great, disciplined players who know how to get the best out of their classes. But as of last night, I won't be helping any NP players at all, whether through crafting, healing or ressing until they learn to get along with the realm and stop acting like the idiots they have been doing over the past few days.

Firstly, sotl rarely have a 3 group zerg.

Secondly, what's so bad about people running round emain with friends? If you don't get on with NP, then don't res them. But stop complaining about them zerging, they are after all participating in fair RvR, as the game was intended. I hope that soon the rest of Hibernia would stop following them round like lapdogs, you rarely see people following sotl/warders but every time I see NP the hibs are following behind picking up the scraps. Stand up for yourself guys, if they don't want to res you, fine, but don't be bait for other realm enemies so NP can rush in 20 secs later and kill everything while you're messed.

It seems times have changed, I remember when albion was doing poorly in RvR. Now the boot is on the other foot.

P.S. why is it called a zerg and not an army?

5 man alb group kicking 1fg of mids butts all morning..mids keep coming back and getting owned..

instead of changing tactics or getting a few more mids to help 1fg turns into 3 to 4fg`s wipes us out ..we don`t go back.. end of some good battles..

What did we expect from Hib Prydwen? Unpopulated realm with too many PvE raids and too few RvR events. Atm It seems there aint no Legion raids and Emain is zerged by hibs @ 16 (Non-Nolby)

I dont really know what complaints youve recieved but so far the ones Ive heard have been,
A) Zerg whines about the "whooping" zerg
B) Some nolby member saying something which has been taken as an insult.

This is a vicious circle, people slag us, we concider everyone as those who slag NP. More people get in the crossfire and more people misunderstand.

i havent been complainging about 2fg's. Its just the mids indecisiveness about what constitutes a zerg. i think 16 vs 16 is massive fun. When i see 2fg running around and mids are in x X 1fg's and whining about being zerged I get annoyed. The 3fg of Sotl,l i saw a few days back, I guess was the respect they were paying to the 2fg of NP running around I'm not sure mids remember how to fight 16 vs 16. I'm sure we used to be good at it

I rarely see more than 2fg of NP running about. The time you think you saw 3fg of SotL was in fact 18 sotl. We'd had to respond to the NP/Guardians in Emain and run around with a few more than we normally do.

I like the 1fgv1fg battles and also 2fgv2fg. Any more than that and its starts to get a tad messy etc etc. Still, each to their own
