Help Decent clubs in London ?

I recently moved to London, it's my birthday coming up and I'm trying to work out where the heck to go with some mates..

Anyone able to recommend a decent sized night club with decent music, without being pretentious, for young folk in central ish London on a Saturday night ?

I've tried Googling but you just get all sorts of shit..

Music - Back home we used to have a club that had 3 floors, one cheese, one RnB and the other was dance, so I suck at choosing But either some place that does decent Hits / RnB / Cheese (not shit cheese), or somewhere playing decent dance / Fabric-stylee that has a decent bar or two and a decent sized dance floor would be sweet. (Been to Fabric a few times so wouldn't mind somewhere new)

Sorry I can't be more specific, absolutely shattered !

Tbh, you're right Ch3tan. Much as I love the sound of the places Wazz has posted - some sweet tunes will have to check out - but I think this night is to be more mainstream. It'll be mostly guys night out.. We'd ideally like to go somewhere populated with a decent ratio of girls Though I know that seems to be asking a lot these days..

I'd say I guess my mates like a mixture of mainstream stuff, rnb, cheese and a decent bar you don't have to wait 30 mins to buy a drink at and a decent dance floor..
We're all all into dubstep, etc too - just not looking for that kinda night

Tiger tiger on haymarket mate. Go early so they don't turn you away for being a large group of guys, and also as they do decent happy hour deals. If you eant somethig a little different, book a table for food at guanabarra's in holborn; brazilian beats, more clubby tunes later, live band and dancers too, great cocktails.

You've been to tigers in picadilly often to make that comment then? Not every chain club is the same. Fabric is often full of cunts too, you and wazz sound pretty pretentious to me. Fuck all wrong with going out to a mainstream club.

Fabric is mainsteam? Least it is to me.

I'm not pretentious, I'm just more choosy/selective as I get "on" and go out less and less so I'm more likely to choose something I think is really all round great than something I wouldn't enjoy so much. Was just putting out some options that I knew wouldn't be the immediately obvious as they're less likely to be known about. But I guess that makes me a pretentious cunt, eh?
