Found this....A 34C bra has the same size cup as a 36ATo get a bra measurement you measure around your ribcage, where the bra band would sit, and add 5 inches - if you're an odd number the recommendation is to add another inch. This is your band size. Then you measure around the fullest part of the breast. You take this number and subtract the band size. If the difference is 1 inch, you have an A cup, 2=B, 3=C etc. The difference between a 34C bra and 36A bra is 2 more inches of band (while stretched) and the cups on the 34C will be closer together. To judge a woman's cup size, you can't just look at the amount of breast, but the ratio of breast to ribcage. Basically meaning, a 36B is more of a handful than a 34C
