Actually, i beg to differ. The "perfect" pbaoe group will outexp a focus pull group simply because it can pull faster(no need to wait for the pet to run and pull).

HOWEVER, you only need 3 people to make a kickass focus pull group, while you need at least 6 to make a "good" pbaoe group.

I dont get why people complain about focus groups, while i agree it could be bad for people who have never played the game before, i *really* dont see the point in exping the "normal" way when you already have at least one or two level 50s.

I have exped 5 chars to 50 myself, out of which 3 were done with focus pulling from level 40-50(mostly). People telling me i should spend more time than i need to just because they dislike how its done should just go crawl back under the rock they came from, because exp is boring, and will ALWAYS be boring.

I disagree.

With a focus pull the mobs all run to the pet, without it you have a few seconds delay while tanks run around attempting to land a taunt and bring the mobs to a stack. I recon that evens out.

A good fg of focus pullers can get 8+ purples with no problem. I would like to see 3 tanks sort the tank order and land taunts there. I would be even more amused to see the healers try and catch up once one of those tanks takes 3 purples or a nuker hits something not taunted.

The pet takes less damage than a hero, and ofc one chanter is doing guaranteed dmg to all pets from the second the shield goes up. No way you can come close to that for mana efficiency.

So, yes, your 5 seconds faster at pulling, but you are losing far more time to downtime (even assuming all your group are 'perfect' and can taunt 2-3 purps per per tank without having err... accidents...).
