Everything I've read says get Grindhouse on Region 1 when it comes out instead, the two films work better together with all the trailers etc.

Grindhouse is one of those films that i think was marketed so ineptly that it failed largely of the shiteness of the PR. Not solely because of it though, because the film would have failed whther or not (the cinema going public not being used to the grindhouse/drive-in genre and whatnot) with the same kind of reaction over here.


Still, can't help but feel it's one of those things that i'm wanting to buy the Grindhouse cut, plus the Death Proof and Planet Terror DVDs all the sam.

I think it was a decent enough film, I think it was a little slow in 1 or 2 places, but the ending was pretty decent.

Good film, like most Tarantino films some of the long dialogue is irrelevant but funny. A very simple plot line but still good to watch. I give it 7.5/10.
