Looking at the rumoured evidence is the American governemnt using this man as a scapegoat to cover their own inefficiencies in the run up to the attacks?

the evidence is circumstantial though... i thought with the US legal system there has to be no shadow of a doubt of the persons guilt... can't hang a man on circumstantial evidence...

US needs someone to take the blame. All fair enough they went to Afghanistan and did what they did... but the public there still need someone to blame closer to home...
