How the fuck do you not notice an ambulance enough to side swipe it?

Possibly as it charges at 50mph through a red light from behind a lorry while your trying to avoid some idiot from crashing into you cos he can't understand why you've slowed down?

Cos the ambulance came round a blind corner on the wrong side of the road leaving him no where to go?

There's a very good chance that the BMW driver was at fault, but you can't assume that it wasn't the ambulance driver being a tit. I've seen plenty of emergency vehicles doing questionable things over the years.
