Some strange ideas for competitions out there. I'm not sure if I'm being a little harsh but it all just seems a little bizarre for me that they get deaf people to go on stage and perform in sign language to various songs and whoever danced best while signing in the most creative way to the music wins. Now I realise not everyone is totally deaf and many can hear/feel the beat through vibations and stuff but I still find it difficult to fathom how a crowd of deaf people would know exactly how well the performers are doing to the song and how the performers know each cue for verse/chorus etc..
I am not belittling any kind of handicapped people here as I used to have regular contact with my nextdoor neighbours little cousin who was blind and yet who loved playing console games thanks to a very loving and enthusiastic dad who would cheer him on and yell where things are which was great to watch and also very bizarre
This isn't a "ROFLOMGLOLOL" post but more of a "hm odd,how and why?" post.
