He is perfect for this role @leggy. What I want to see is how he deals with Deadpools different internal monologues and many more chimichangas!

I absolutely agree :)

I may even like this superhero movie.

I'm a bit of a superhero film junkie I'm afraid although normally for me Fox fails horribly this looks promising

wow, can't wait for this. Best trailer I've seen for a while. Ryan is great for the role imo, good sense of humour etc.

Holy shit, that was awesome !!
We're not just talking 4th wall, more like 9th wall, sooo funny.

*edit* - wrote in the cinema, home now.

So anyway....

so much stuff that I probably missed half of it, great lines, lots of jokes about Hugh Jackman, not all of them Wolverine, but Jackman himself.
One scene where Colossus grabs him and says 'I take you to see Professor X' and he says' oh, which one McAvoy or Stewart?', brilliant

Oh and Morena Baccarin is still so fucking hot

Off to see it again tonight, taking @russell, hope she thinks more of it than she did Ant-Man?

I thought Ant Man was silly shit and a total waste of time.
I find all these Marvel Movies a bit samey and dull - I know I'll get shot down for that opinion on here, but there you go.
Deadpool was brilliant and I loved it. Clever and funny..more Guardians of the Galaxy Ilk, but far more violent. Just my cup of tea:)

Infantile is the word yer looking for, or if you're Alan Moore, "culturally catastrophic".

I kinda agree. They are enjoyable throwaway pap. But still pap. It's a shame that since the Harry Potter era we've quickly retreated from complex realism (and science) towards total fantasy.

My other half really wants to watch this. I think I'd rather be sick on myself. It may be very enjoyable, but there's only so much fantasy you can immerse yourself in before it rots your brain.

Agree, thought it was superb, right from the quirky opening credits through to the 'extra bit' after the end

Not a bad film, I felt as though I'd heard most of the best jokes in the trailer. Not worth paying £9 to watch, I should have seen The Revenant instead.

Good, but just a bit too 'Aren't I fucking fabulous' from Reynolds, I couldn't separate the character from his own narcisim.
