DDoS?

My cable modem is going crazy every so often even when I'm not downloading/uploading anything. 'netstat' in the cmd line shows hundreds of connection to lots, and lots of different ports on different IPs like this -

Ah - seems some of those IPs belong to MSN messenger advertisers like lastminute.com
