A mate has emailed me a .DCF file which he downloaded off his camera phone, it's meant to be some video, but neither he, nor I can extract the data from the file. A quick google tells me the file is from a "Design rule for Camera File system" specification, but I haven't been able to find anything to extract/view this file system, has anyone ever seen one of these files before, and any ideas how to get the data?

you most likely can only watch the film using the phones software...

Nokia have something similar. You can only watch the film using their supplied software. :/

My nokia phone records in 3gp, can be watched in anything that supports 3gp.
