afaik that isnt bug classed as bug abuse if veeshan is targetable, which if i remember rightly he is up there. its the same as the roof on mid keeps, i was on there earlier in thidranki, it gave me a nice view but also made me a nice big target hehe :) i got a lot of people rooted but got a lot of arrows hurled my way

Seeing all these target out of range messages means only a class with long range can reach him (if even, probably get an out of sight message) ...

If he can be reached it's not an exploit.. if he can't be reached and he can cast on others it most certainly is an exploit of a bug in this game and should be warned/penalized for this..

Anyway, can't see the fun in it ..

Now someone give veeshan a big bag of presents, some reindeer and tell him to wear red armour or tell him to get down from the damn roofs.. :)

They made a ruling on this while mordred was in testing, standing on roofs is NOT an exploit, if veeshan was standing IN the roof untargetable it would be an exploit but it doesn't look like that is the case judging from the ss.

Most probably true in this case, so the appeal was justified imho.

cindi mezzed and stunned him on the roof, but what does that help me and my other tank mate who got ganked ? I still had 1200 hp to go, however I did get killed by scouts and not veeshan. But i spend quite some time trying to get to him....

well we'll see what goa thinks about this. I dont hope that veesh gets a permanent ban, but I hope he will soon learn his lesson.

I have stood on that roof for millions of times. Its not an exploit. Your actually a real easy target and thats one of the main reasons I avoid that spot now. 1 mezz few bolts and your doomed on that spot.

Pretty much everyone knows how to get on the roof. Its so easy its almost like it was designed that way. And its been a common sight from all 3 realms since this game was in beta. If u want us to report every kobald & dwarf/lurikeen & elf we see on that roof so be it. If u dont know how to get on it Sub ask any guildy to show you ;)

Lets not be mean, would be harsh to get any sort of banning for that, Im sure it was just more showing off than anything knowing Veesham.... Mind you I do suspect he uses another more prominent form of cheating with a handful of his Alb mates. who knows..... I tend to spend more of my time unstealthing in Emain to see how many players make an immediate direction change towards me, seem to recal he was guilty of it once but as always could have just been luck... its only if it happens about 3 times do I really get suspicous....

first of all, bugabuse is bugabuse, even if it has been done a 1000 times.
2nd of all, I hadnt relogged since the relicraid attempt we did earlier that day, so I had really shitty fps. add that with the stress of being shot at by 2 bowmen while u got 2 stealthers near by, then I'd like to see u jump up there flawlessly.

I have seen loads of people on that roof, tbh I thought it was part of the game. People up there can be targetted, I have done it and as a bard my range is not particularly good.

I notice she is up there all alone, a nice target for a few stealthers :D

It's easy to get on that roof and its not bug abuse, however being on the roof above the gate or the lord room is abuse.

Some alb sniper was hiding inside Alb mile gate tonite as well, people kept getting shot and we could never see the culprit.

I think kiranian did a /face and she was looking staight at the left hand wall of the mile gate. We both ran up and cast our piss poor pbaoe, and sure enough someone was taking damage inside the wall.

Think these people came to DAoC after getting perm banned for all the major CS servers? :rolleyes:

The number of times I've seen middies fighting from keep rooftops on excal... doesn't really bear thinking about.

Well i have seen alot of ppl on those roofs...both ppl from my own realm and ppl from other realms... and since both my scout and my wiz can hit them up there i dont really see it as a problem... as mentioned before it only makes u a bigger target.

Well did lots of appeals on the 4 or 5 middies on the roof in thidranki keep today when a total failure keep raid was on (Ram builder hadnt seen a ram in action nor did he/she know how to set it up propely)

lol u best ban half the server then sub...its not bug abusing...u can target them u can melee them from below once they up there they can't be ressed...imo its a shit place :p

mids do it all the time too though they usually get down pretty fast cos you are an easy target for casters/archers, theres no clear benefit from it so i've never considered it bug abuse...

aussie as far as I remember u and winter had one hell of a rush getting stealthed and away from that corner, and I had ur ass targeted and ready for ganking if it wasnt because I saw red on veeshan standing there.

as I have mentioned it was completely uncalled for, u would have won the match at the lord room fair and square, but the fucker had to get out of tank reach.

and, I dont recall u killing me, I think winter send around 100 arrows my way tho.

I think hes just trying to get the only fully RvR active mezzer Alb has banned for some reason :rolleyes:
