I remember the first time I experienced a raid from an opposing realm in DF.
For me, it was some of the most exciting DAOC play I'd ever had.
We DID get advance warning they (Hibs at the time) were coming, so we were running back up the dungeon lvl's, I was about 3 feet from the exitwhen I got cut down...
Whilst I was dead and the hibs had wandered off I saw some spells going off behind the portal.
One of our guys had hidden behind and to the left of the portal.
He was prbably the last remaining Alb alive in DF..
I laughed bigtime..
Anyway, he rezzed me soon after that,
and for the next 10-15 mins we went around rezzing ppl, (I was playing a cleric at the time) and sneaking around trying not to get killed and keeping an eye on the messages.
So, for me having a multi realm dungeon is really good...
Yeah, I've been killed several times so far, but it was great fun..
All in all DF is great as it is...You just have to accept is very deadly in there for a variety of reasons..

As ususal first time I heard of charging low level area was albs as usualy so blame them/yourself. I have been at merchants aswell and killed a few greys/green and I dont feel pity for them at all, I just think , maybe that was one of those high level dudes alt logged at excalibur or the ones who comes to yggdra to exp kill my alt at bone-eater camp. SO FU you ¤#%¤#% alb Griefer is my only thought the rare times it happens
There is also a fight over who has the right to enter, so why not kick the enemy out of the dungeon when they not belong there.

It's just very simple about this zerging in DF, it's like a chain lighting, one zergs grey, others take revenge, others take revenge for those who took revenge etc. etc.
Because 1 started all this it can't be stopped whatsoever, it's that simple, it's sucks, but true.

Last night 5 other guildies and me "Zerged" the mid side of the dungeon even after they had gotten access. Our bold and brave band of 6 moved up killing grey, a lot of blue and a bunch of yellow cons till we reached the mid stairs. We were on our way back when mids got access again so we started moving towards the merchants and entrance at those steep stairs. Now to my surprise mids kept coming in but they waited on top of the stairs instead of coming down to gank us. At the time they did attack there were at least 30+ gathered on top and we took down quite a few before they cut our 6 man zerg down. I must admit we had an uber group (a merc, a paladin, a friar, a minstrel a sorc and a wizard) or this would not have been possible.
Or maybe i could just put it like this: 30+ mids were kept at bay by a 6 man group with 3 gimp classes in it. Thx for the 60K rpoints for our new guild though, they are kindly appreciated.
