They made two seasons of Dark Angel yes, according to me the second season wasn't really that good as season one so you could easily stop after watching first season.

Remember when chosing between Dark Angel and Buffy: According to Amber Benson (Playing Willows gf Tara Reid) you turn into a lesbian by watching Buffy.

They didn't come up with such a good story for Dark Angel, yeah it was good but the good parts only lasted for a year. Alias is in its third season now and its only getting better and better. Buffy lasted for seven seasons, and according to me, it had better characters.
