Yes its leet, because to hit bonus nothing to do with evade and there is new small fast shields in game. Now combine that stun with a 2100 ws ranged class popping zephyr on you, hitting you for 200-250 each second while your slowly being dragged away and you might understand. You might even get advanced and pop a crit before firing it, altho its mostly not needed 1on1.



It does hit, just a matter of time and with ip + potions up usually plenty of time to make it connect.

Slam is nice, but it has often happend that it is just evaded 5 times in a row, by which time I will have to use purge and IP and end and try my luck again....
Saying scouts have a chance if they use purge and IP, and land slam, and the other class does not purge (against DW'ers).

2100 ws with bow ofc, thought that was obvious.

And Glottis your very very wrong, yes sometimes you lose, but 2 * anytime
cc types combined on a ranged class with zephyr is nasty.

I had high rr assasins hit me with whole pa chain, and beat on me for 4-5 tryies on slam, and they still had to leg it barely alive, only surviving because i was out of end.

Zephyr fits so well to scouts with weak melee but stun and ranged attack.

ffs arn't archers suppose to get anything good with NF. Stop teh whining about wat archers can do they nerf enough of the elite stuff on them already cause of SOME stealthers QQ. Scouts shield is quite elite from my point of view i mean u can engage at a archer shootin at u chargin them down while they shoot than FZ them and shoot. i wish archers at least get some loving or else we end up with all rangers/hunter goin melee spec and phyiscal defense.

Used to luve defending Beno with Winter or Greg as assisting scouts (and being able to log in during siege at least)

Think NF will bring down the assasin population a bit...and up the archers a bit more again...

Since i got all Alb rogues...i can only be happy to play some different classes when needed

Scout is fun in defending or siege...but cba to play it in open RvR since i get wtfwned by every RR2 sb out there that can see me miles away anyway (and hoping MoS will give archers in general some luve too)...

But NF is still far away...so much is gonna change again till we will be able to play it.

i wont be speccing much shield in NF due to the easily gotten purge... and so many duel wielders out there shield spec is a waste of time most the time. only good thing about it is slam. but that gets evaded a high % of the time.

the speed buff to escape .. or the pet to interupt casters/other archers hititng you is a huge bonus
