Maby some "random" created mobs. Mine with mobs and few places where you could dig some engridient that you can use to make metals and ofc a tradeskill that would allow you to transform engridient to metals and so on. Maby some new way to make money, example being a "lumberjack" and really go smack trees down with axe(shouldnt require axe spec or abolity to wear this "special tool"), tree falls down, you start breaking it apart so you can sell it to merchant or something. Maby a land that would increase when needed and you could build your own/or guilds house/castle/keep there and buy/make furniture etc. to it. Trees that really grow, maby plants that would grow too and they would be used on as alchemy materials.

Maby would be nice to take armors off and go diving or something nice, swim among corals and fish etc.

Maby ability of having sea warfare with ships?

Cloaks should be changed so you could put hood on or off(to your back)

Increasing lvl cap isnt a good choice imo.

from the mines idea im guessing you played legends of mir *washes mouth out* :p
sea warfare im sure will be a no chance, as will the growing trees etc (unless the trees are made as a sort of passive mob but then that wouldnt really work too well hehe)
housing is coming (about the same time as the patch that perfectly balances the games), but other than that sounds good :)

Passive and nonpassive trees would nice and sea warfare would be a large add and huge thing to make so guess we have to live w/o it.

non passive trees is done, grovewoods etc

if they were modified to upon death topple, and then leave the corpse targetable with a health bar, leaving the body there for a varying amount of time dependant on mob etc. then assuming the player possessed the skill required (pure melee classes only able to use mining\foresting i suggest to make up for a lack of the alchemy\sc option), they can then procceed to farm some amount of appropriate tier wood from the dead mob. of course if for example you got tier 8 wood from a level 45 mob you would have to not get too much or it would open up the gates for cash farming to far imo :) its an idea i would like though :) (not that i have a pure melee char of decent level yet ;))

Maby they should be made so if you farm em enought amount of wood would decrease or something, allso tree's lvl/size should matter on what wood and how much would it drop

i guess a solution would be to drop in total differeing amounts of wood dependant upon the skill of the forester. a clumsy forester would for example create more wastage than an experienced one. anyway :) such speculation is nice but unlikely to amount to anything ;)

I dont mind more addons, Id LOVE to see a new realm added to make up for all the mid/hib vs albion stuff that happens once in a while, how about a Greco-Roman Realm mixed in with an egyptian zone, could be some mega classes. Maybe after that another realm based on old sk00l china so all the yanks can get their ninjas and crap, would make rvr a bit more interesting, then some sort of proper realm alliance might work from within the game or something, instead of the irc hib/mid nonsense.

current classes id like to see added to the 3 existing realms hmm. ALBION NEEDS FOOTBALL HOOLIGANS!

big fat gits with "drunken fury" mode to give alb tanks a moose style option :D also projectile vomiting for a ranged pull

oh yes DEFO a few new taunts for rvr, /moon /wanker and some proper nudity if we decide not to wear armour, running around in your pants is great, let us highlanders remove the damn dress too or at least dye it properly, it ruins our look with most colours other than black, dark blue.

Did i once hear EQ letplayers log in as certain mobs and have a limited level of control over them? Something like this would be a bit of a change and cause som comedy, Id love to get a greater telemon on a rampage.

Increasing level cap seems a really awful way to change the game to me.

Lets face it, we all accept you have to get to lev 50 to RvR - increasing the cap just means more time boring yourself to death chipping away at XP when we would rather be having some fun, RvRing or helping others level, etc.

Once you get to lev 45+ XP is about as exciting and interesting as crafting. Its a blessed relief when someone breaks a mezz so you have to actually do something rather than just stand there tapping the same key over and over. DO NOT make me suffer another 25 levels of XP after 50.

Improvements:
-Add spec lines to classes so they can have as many diverse templates as Shadowblades - 1 of the only classes with 4 real endgame templates (SZ, CB, 5-Spec and Soulblade). Don't just add a spec line that is going to make everyone play that spec line and that spec line only (eg adding PBAoE to SM suppression spec line means all SMs are suppression now). i.e. when someone says "what spec is best for class XXX they get like 4/5 different answers" not just one.
-Allow guilds to purchase a house somewhere with a guild bank counter (tracks individual contributions, make use of the deposit/withdraw permissions), guild chest for newbie equipment, etc
-Allow more varied goals in RvR other than simply relic - not sure what exactly atm but we need something to feel more concerned about defending our realm - some real involvement - maybe the threat of a zerg breaking through into the realm homezone if certain conditions (like loss of all keeps and destruction of a sizeable border guard - eg its rare but possible) are fulfilled.
-players with existing level 50s can start characters at lev 20 or lev 1
-Class specific realm abilities that are all good enough to be used - at the moment most of the class specific abilities are so awful they are never ever considered worth using (Static Tempest) and others are so fight-winning that they become must-haves (Group Purge).
-More weapon types - was glad to see flexible come into Albion - but lets face we should have it in Mid too - Morning stars are very barbarian hordish - would fit well in Mid :)
-Capacity and Support for more Roleplay - we have the whole campaign thing but if you ask the average player they have NFC what is happening or what it is about.
-Maybe allow people to train in another class' spec line at increased cost - could result in some interesting hybrids. (hehe SBs with stun/mezz shout ;) )

more options in siegecraft..
- add mobile towers and ladders (to storm keep walls)
- add boiling oil / rocks thrown down from keep walls
- add an architect/engineer type tradeskill which can alter keeps - build a moat, add a motte & bailey, add outer walls etc (not sure whether that'd work well :p )

make the end game more interesting..
- combine the frontiers into one area
- give each realm a "border" that is defined by what keeps you hold, and allow you to port into any keep within the border (but not the ones right on the frontier.. so say any keep that's further than a certain distance from the border), this would give some meaning to capturing and holding keeps
- change the landscape of the frontier zones to offer much greater tactical diversity
- reduce the aggro mobs in the frontier zones, add neutral epic level mobs instead (for those who like a change), which would also give an incentive to move your frontier - maybe add friendly epic mobs far from the center of the zones, which only enemy realms can kill, but have great drops (ie. you need to invade the enemy realm to get those drops)

just a few (perhaps not well thought out) ideas

Regarding the SWG stuff above. I WAS looking forward to it and it couldve been a camelot beater maybe, but if i play it now it will be defo second fiddle to cam since the annoucement SWG will have XBOX - yes thats console users on the same servers, I own an xbox so dont call me a pc boy, infact i own a gc and ps2 too, however online games MUST be PC only i say or at least pc only servers/versions, Can you imagine the dumbing down needed on SWG since the annoucement its gonna be one single multiformat version. not only that the Xbox headset will work apparantly- nuff said. All we can hope for is maybe they dont dumb it down too much and the console idiots get bored ater 5 levels and fuck off back to their mobile phones playing eminem at them while they play generic racing game 541 on a console.

I would make an Inconnu scout, if it wasn't for this small pile of squirrel waste which needs a good defenestration.

yeah thats right, there was a button on the char select screen that said enter as monster or something and you spawn as a random low lvl mob (I think the highest I spawned was lvl 8 or something) you had full control of the mob and any spells that mob normally had, it was a really amusing little break from the xp grind but I don't think it's in there anymore, make of that what you will =)

yeah i remember that addition. it was awesome! you couldn't zone or anything like that, but it was soooo funny to attack low-level players that were xp'ing :D
